All orders placed on the Oliver + S site are shipped within one business day. Orders placed Monday through Friday before 3:00 PM ET usually ship the same day. You will receive an email with a tracking number for your package once your order ships.
Yes, we do. The tracking number you receive will show status of your package until it leaves the United States. After it is taken over by your country's postal service, you will not be able to see additional tracking details unless they are provided back to the US Postal Service. (Only a couple countries do this, unfortunately.) Delivery time to your address can vary. We find that the majority of international orders arrive within two weeks, but occasionally an order takes longer. This is due to the amount of time that the package is held in customs in the country of receipt. All orders are shipped with a reported customs value showing the full retail price of the items in the order. Any discounts or coupon codes used are not reflected in the reported customs value. We are not able to change this. You are responsible for any customs and import duties imposed by your local customs service. Every country has differnt customs policies. If you have questions on this, please contact your local customs service.
All orders ship via US Postal Service or UPS. Orders of eight or fewer patterns for addresses in the United States ship either First Class or Priority Mail. Orders of more than eight patterns to addresses in the United States ship via UPS. Orders going outside the United States ship First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International. Allow seven days for delivery to US addresses. Due to customs inspections in the country of receipt, more time may be required for delivery to addresses outside the United States.
If you bought a Straight Stitch Society pattern from a retailer, please contact the store for its return policy. Straight Stitch Society patterns purchased on the Oliver + S website may be returned using the return policy you find there.
